01 — Origins

2019STEEL PIPE WELD SRLCompany details

The beginning of the company

STEEL PIPE WELD SRL was established in 2019. Registration J52/810/01/07/2019 and company tax ID 41340166 mark the beginning of the Romanian company, distinct from the technical management’s earlier professional experience.

Pipeline welding and steel fabrication form the core of the activity presented by the company. The portfolio brings together work on gas transmission routes, equipment support structures, process installations and industrial closures.

The presentation does not date every project individually. The following references follow the portfolio order without turning it into a construction calendar.

02 — Project references

Work that explains our development

Three participations for which the company presentation describes the collaboration, scope of work and recorded figures.

01

Natural gas transmission

BRUA / Lot 2

Welding and lowering a transmission pipeline

Participation in BRUA is one of the named references in the Steel Pipe Weld portfolio. In collaboration with Inspet Ploiești S.A., the company carried out welding work and participated in lowering approximately 1,700 metres of pipeline within section 65.

The work belongs to Lot 2, from kilometre 180 to kilometre 320, in the project's first phase. The presentation records 170 welds on 32-inch carbon-steel pipe. SPW's stated scope covers welding and participation in lowering within the identified section.

Steel structures and auxiliary assemblies

Castberg

Support structures for industrial equipment

The portfolio records the Castberg project in collaboration with OMA România Metal Mecanica. The presented work concerns an auxiliary system and a support structure for a test bed destined for Nuovo Pignone, Italy.

The presentation describes SPW's participation as welding components made from carbon steel, alloy steel and special materials. This reference brings industrial structures into the company's story, with welded joints forming part of a larger mechanical assembly.

Industrial process installations

S.E.A.U. Glina

Piping for the treatment-plant extension and sludge incinerator

The extension of the treatment plant and construction of the sludge incinerator in Glina, Ilfov County, appear in the SPW presentation as work undertaken in collaboration with Landrom SRL. The stated contribution concerns welding carbon-steel and stainless-steel piping components.

The Glina reference complements transmission-pipeline work with piping applications within industrial installations. In this type of work, component prefabrication and installation need to be coordinated with equipment positions and installation documentation.

The unit “inches” is retained as written in the source. The document does not specify the calculation method, so the figure is not converted into pipeline metres or dia-inch.

03 — Specialisations

Piping, boilermaking and special doors

The portfolio continues with references for pressure piping, stainless steel and protective systems. Each chapter retains the scope stated in the company materials.

TENOVA

High-pressure piping

A chapter dedicated to piping and welded joints for industrial applications. The reference complements the welding and prefabrication scope presented by the company.

UNIPETROL

Industrial pipes and connections

A reference included in the presentation under “High Pressure Pipe”, alongside material covering welding and fabrication of piping components.

TECHNIP

Stainless-steel piping

The chapter explicitly identifies stainless-steel piping. This material appears in the portfolio alongside carbon-steel work, with preparation and execution requirements defined for each application.

MACCHI România

Boilermaking and industrial fabrication

The two MACCHI slides contain material on heat treatment and industrial references. They provide context for the boilermaking chapter without establishing that all illustrated installations, equipment or projects belong to SPW.

Sophia High Tech

Doors and protective systems

The Sophia High Tech reference and “Blast Resistant Door” chapters introduce large doors and gates in the presentation. In the current portfolio, swing and sliding assemblies are presented separately from radiation-shielding closures.

Names are taken from the SPW presentation. For these chapters, the material does not fully specify the period or contractual relationship. Mention of an organisation does not imply an ongoing collaboration.

04 — Execution stages

The work starts before the first weld

In fabrication and installation, material preparation and coordination between operations matter alongside the finished joint.

  1. 01

    Documentation and preparation

Requirements, drawings, materials and site conditions. Documentation defines what needs to be built and checked.

  2. 02

    Cutting and assembly

Preparing, positioning, fitting and securing components for welding according to the assembly geometry.

  3. 03

    Welding and fabrication

Producing joints and subassemblies according to the material, access and project requirements.

  4. 04

    Installation and handover

Integration on site, checks and handover documentation agreed for the work.

The presentation includes equipment for TIG, MMA, MIG/MAG, plasma, cutting, grinding and pipe rotation. Resource configuration and availability are confirmed for each mobilisation.

06 — Today

From engineering to installation

SPW Engineering

Today, Steel Pipe Weld brings together industrial welding and piping, steel structures, special doors, mobile line boring and machinery repairs. Industrial Engineering / SPW Engineering complements these disciplines with design for execution.

For a new project, the quotation can bring together engineering, fabrication and installation within the agreed technical scope. Technical documentation is delivered under contract, with usage rights defined in the quotation and contract.

Door and industrial-access services are connected to the TEOGRA presentation. Configuration, materials, actuation and required performance are defined for each project.
